About Yulia
I have led hundreds of clients and students on deeply healing inward journeys and retreats and am always amazed by the power of the healing wisdom that is activated during each session that leads to miracles in women’s lives.
My spiritual path began when I found myself deeply depressed and miserable, in a heart-breaking relationship, despite of all of the external successes of pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry, working in the most prestigious lab making drugs for diabetes when I was in my early 30s.
Already having a taste of the liberating feeling I experienced with yoga, I blindly followed my heart to embark on a yoga teacher’s training with the world-renowned yoga master Yogi Amrit Desai at the Amrit Yoga Institute in Florida. The spiritual rabbit hole I fell into lead to life-changing heart-opening experiences and awakening of powerful energy that I never knew was inside of me.
After opening Gentle Heart Yoga and Wellness in 2014 and launching Confident Healer Academy in 2021, I have been dedicating my life to supporting people in developing deeper trust in life through the power of the breath and body wisdom. When Should I Plan to Arrive in & Depart from Costa Rica?
Arrival Time:
We will meet as a group in San José International Airport (Airport Code: SJO) in the morning of June 18th and depart on a charter flight at 9:15 am for our magical retreat center. This flight is an epic adventure in itself and you will already feel the MAGIC starting to unfold with soul-aligned sisters by your side.
If you decide to arrive in Costa Rica a day or more earlier – we will provide a recommended hotel that is nearby that includes transportation to and from the airport.
Departure Time:
We will return to SJO on June 23rd by 10:30 am and it is recommended that you book your return flight no sooner than 1 pm.
Will You Help Me Book/Cover Any of the Extra Night Accommodation if I Arrive the Day Before?
Our retreat center has established a partnership with the beautiful Alta Las Palomas Hotel just 25 min from San José airport. We have a direct contact from the hotel who has helped establish a booking page for your stay. We will also porvide a list of other nearby hotels that you can choose from near the airport.
Some participants booked beautiful AirBnB’s in historic downtown area of San José to enjoy some cultural time before or after the retreat.
The cost of the hotel or AirBnb stay for additional nights is not included in the cost of the retreat. You can expect to spend between $50 and $150 per night for a hotel room (accomodating 2 people) or an AirBnB depending on your preferences. If you would like to coordinate with other sisters coming on the retreat, we will help you find someone to share a room with inside our private Facebook Group. We will also use a private Whatsapp Group to stay connected before and after this life-changing adventure.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
Cancellation Policy:
If you choose to cancel, please note that all payments are nonrefundable, and any unpaid balance remains your responsibility (payment plans will continue to be billed). The deadline for full payment for the retreat is June 1, 2024. However, in the event of cancelation more than 1 month before the start of the retreat, your payment can be aaplied towards a future retreat in Costa Rica or at another location, and your investment can be utilized for any service offered by Gentle Heart Purpose LLC. Furthermore, in case of cancelation, your reservation spot at this retreat is transferrable to another participant you recruit to take your place. If you find a replacement for your spot or transfer your payment to a future retreat or another service, a nonrefundable administration fee of $250 will be charged.
We strongly recommend purchasing Emergency Trip & Cancelation Insurance to safeguard your investment. The insurance should include a “Cancel for any reason” clause. Insurance can be purchased through the retreat’s preferred partner, Global Rescue: www.globalrescue.com/partner/imiloa/
What is the weather like?
Costa Rica Weather Overview:
Our retreat center is located in the heart of Costa Rica, which means that it enjoys a tropical climate with two distinct seasons. The dry season (from December to April) offers golden sunshine and crisp air. The rainy season starts in May, adding vibrancy to the lush landscape and opportunity for introspection in the middle of the day.
Our retreat will take place during the rainy season which will create an opportunity to experince a cooling and refreshing effect of the rain in the afternoons while we gather under a roof in The House of Masters – our main community and movement gathering space or enjoy a quiet moments inside your dwelling or on a veranda.
Many of the guests have expressed how June is their favorite time at this retreat center when the rain showers enhance the experience, creating a harmonious blend of warmth and water.
We recommend that you check real-time updates closer to your journey for a well-prepared experience.
Will I have free time?
Yes, you will have plenty of time to relax and take in the surroundings, reflect and interact with others. There will also be open time for you to schedule a spa treatment if you choose to treat yourself to it.
Should I bring my computer?
We encourage that you take this time as an opportunity to fully unplug from responsibilities at home and work. Going offline for 6 days will help you connect deeply with the pulse of life within you so that you can come back to your life at home deeply recharged and inspired to serve from an overflowing cup.
